Apple Photos Clean Up

Cellist Anna Callner Pare and her string quartet, Kai Quartet, created Allegro Keiki — a series of musical events designed for young listeners ages 0-5. Comprised of professional musicians who are also teachers and moms, the quartet performs an enriching program each month in a welcoming space for keiki to enjoy. Kai Quartet presents the next Allegro Keiki on Sunday, March 9th at Treehouse Kahala at 9:30 a.m. See more on Instagram at @allegrokeiki.

Sharene Keliʻipunilei Lum Taba grew up in Pearl City listening to a variety of music – mostly in the car and the choice of the driver (Grandma, Mom, Dad, sister or brother). It ranged from Hawaiian to Japanese Enka to Top 40 to HPR. Sharene played the violin in school, and is now a professional freelance harpist and mother. She and husband jazz bassist Dean Taba love to play and listen to music, and are raising their children to celebrate the love of learning and of all kinds of music.
