Hawaiʻi premiere of Dan Forrest’s Jubilate Deo

Presenting the Hawaiʻi premiere of Jubilate Deo

Evening Concert host Craig DeSilva speaks to conductor Susan McCreary Duprey about the Hawaiʻi premiere of Dan Forrest’s Jubilate Deo. Duprey will present the concerts with the Kona Choral Society on June 4 at the Hilton Waikaloa Village Resort and with the Windward Choral Society on June 11 at Kawaiahaʻo Church.

Craig DeSilva is glad to be playing recorded music on the air instead of playing for a live audience on stage as did when he studied piano. He began piano lessons when he was a child and continued piano studies at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa (where he majored in broadcast journalism and minored in music) under the late Peter Coraggio.
