Kapaʻa football coach shares his team's journey to championship victory

The Kapaʻa High School football team brought home Kauaʻi’s first state football championship last week when it defeated Kamehameha-Maui 61-7.

Kapaʻa has played in four of the last five Division II championship games without a win. But then on Dec. 30, 2021 — victory. To learn more about the team’s journey to the top, The Conversation sat down with head coach Mike Tresler.
