Mayor Derek Kawakami says Kauaʻi is acclimating well to life with COVID

The Hawaiʻi Pandemic Applied Modeling Work Group's latest COVID-19 forecast has Hawaiʻi hitting 4,000 new cases a day statewide in early January. Kauaʻi Mayor Derek Kawakami joined The Conversation live to talk about the COVID situation on the Garden Isle — and his hopes for the new year.
