A local water company is giving back to the Big Island community

Waiakea's Kokua Initiative

Community and partnership are the cornerstones of Waiākea Hawaiian Volcanic Water’s Kokua Initiative. Created by founder Ryan Emmons, the giveback program is funded through a percentage of sales of the company’s bottled water. The Conversation sat down with Director Geoli Ng to learn how the initiative supports the Big Island community.

The Food and Diaper Drive is on Saturday morning from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at KTA in Puainako. This interview aired on The Conversation on Oct. 1, 2021.
