Henry Rollins

  • HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence continues the new post-pandemic interview series, Road Stories, with Henry Rollins, as the rock legend is at the Blue Note Hawaii thru Saturday. Making his third appearance over the years with Dave, today Henry offers an in-depth story about his time at Woodstock 1994! Plus, we'll post the complete interview with much more from the rock icon and one-time Black Flag singer.
  • Henry Rollins is probably best known as the singer of the punk rock band Black Flag. But when he left the band in 1986 he became a writer, actor, public speaker and DJ on KCRW. HPR’s Mr. Nick spoke to him ahead of his three-night appearance at Blue Note Hawaii. He reflected on travel, aging, bullying, and how he puts his speaking shows together.
