This pandemic has turned lots of people’s attention down to earth. Newfound gardeners have emerged and there has been a run on seeds, soil and all things related to growing food at home. Today we talk about seeds; taking stock of the state of seeds and learning about groups in our community who are producing seed to sell and grow.

Joining our discussion today:

Big Island resident Nancy Redfeather. She has over 40 years of home gardening experience and has been saving seed at her  family farm, Kawanui Farm, since 1998. He has worked with the Culinary Breeding Network, visited the World Vegetable Center. Bost is a farm coach with GoFarm Hawaii, training a new generation of growers on Oahu in Waimanalo.
