This week Hawai'i Green Growth released results of a survey about attitudes in this time of disruption and where we need to consider our economic and environmental futures in a post Covid world. Recently, the state appointed former Hawaiian Electric CEO Alan Oshima as Hawaii’s “Economic Navigator” in a time where community recovery and resilience is more important than ever. What can the community do to move forward on managing risk and encouraging innovation during this time?

  It’s been about a year since an Italian Band from Rome released an album entitled The Waikiki Leaks - Swing Luau. We were intrigued since we were told only the band leader Flavio speaks English and none of the members had ever been to the islands. They learned the songs listening to a classic radio show Territorial Airways with Harry B. Soria Jr.
