Future of Hawaii’s GOP: Beth Fukumoto-Chang
Expressions of unity from Republican Party leadership around the country are coming thick and fast. But is the reality of a now President-Elect Trump enough to bridge the gap between those in the victor’s camp and Republicans who stood in opposition to him? In Hawaii, one of the staunchest voices walking the line between support for the Republican Party down ticket but not for Mr. Trump was State House Representative and Minority Leader Beth Fukumoto-Chang. She represents District 36; Mililani, Mililani Mauka and Waipio Acres and we handily reelected last week. Artist and Painter Claudia Wallace
Claudia Wallace is an artist who loves texture as much as color; you can see it in her canvases, which seem to invite the viewer to reach out and touch. She works in acrylic mixed media; some of her work is representational, some abstract… she teaches a monthly workshop in her techniques, and she’s on the line with us this morning.
