Financial Challenges Being Faced by Hawaii Residents: David Tasaka
A week ago, you probably saw the front page illustration in the Star Advertiser: 48 percent of state residents polled said they live paycheck to paycheck. That’s according to a report from the Hawaii Appleseed Center for Law and Economic Justice...and in many cases includes people who have good jobs but maybe not such great spending habits. And that has David Tasaka concerned. He says that that frugality is no longer a badge of shame but a sign of wisdom. He teaches the small habit changes he first learned when he started his saving money journey back in 1972 and had to live on $300 per month for expenses. David Tasaka joins us now.
