End of Mental Health Awareness Month: Dana Hamilton
Conventional experience says it's tough to talk about mental illness. To displace the stigma, some would say talking is the best solution, especially in a society that still looks at mental health and winces. Earlier this month, President Obama proclaimed May as the first National Mental Health Awareness Month and now that the month is almost over, how much of a difference did it make? Locally, the Hawaii affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness has been busy. Dana Hamilton is a member of their Board of Directors and she joined us in our studios to reflect on Mental Health Awareness Month.

For most houses and businesses, not having a reliable and especially affordable way to store energy has been a drawback. Recently SolarCity announced its Tesla battery and while the announcement was met with enthusiasm, there's still the matter of whether it really works - and at what cost. Jon Yoshimura is the Director of Government Affairs for SolarCity and he joined us in our studios.
