Massage Parlor Sting: Kathy Xian
Is this a case where the ends justify the means or is the recent massage parlor sting that lead to the arrest of 16 women for charges of sexual assault pointing to a different reason? HPD says in a statement that it was working with the FBI and Homeland Security “in response to numerous complaints of prostitution activity and unlicensed cosmetology and massage businesses.” Those are their words. Kathryn Xian of the Pacific Alliance to Stop Slavery has some others. They include appalled, retaliation and disruption of trust.
