Jim Shon is the Director of the Hawai‘i Educational Policy Center at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa. He was a Hawai‘i state legislator for 12 years, developed curriculum at the University of Hawai‘i, and served as the Executive Director of the Charter School Administrative Office.

“Bald Soprano” at UH: Angie Anderson
Angie Anderson is a member of the cast of “The Bald Soprano, presented as part of the UH Mano’a Department of Theatre and Dance Late Night Theatre series. It runs the next two weekends in the Earle Ernst Lab Theatre at Kennedy Theatre.

Public School AC Fundraising Project, Fahrenheit 73: Kenneth Go
In the absence of legislative action on an issue, sometimes private citizens step up to take charge, but they usually aren't high school students... except in this case. Five students from different high schools have started an initiative to bring air conditioning units to sweltering public school classrooms. They call it Fahrenheit 73. Kenneth Go is a Senior at Damien Memorial School and he's the finance director for the project. He joined the show to tell us more about it.
