Equal Pay Day 2015: Cathy Betts
Perhaps you're of those people who just opens the closet and pulls out an outfit. Tomorrow, the National Committee on Pay Equity hopes you'll give some thought to wearing red. April 14th is Equal Pay Day and wearing red will symbolize how far women and minorities are "in the red" with their pay, 52 years after the Equal Pay Act. Cathy Betts is the Executive Director of the State Commission on the Status of Women and she joined the show in-studio to talk about equal pay prior to Equal Pay Day.

Romeo and Juliet: Eden-Lee Murray
No one has ever brought the passions and confusions of adolescence more fully alive than Shakespeare does in Romeo and Juliet – and the principals really need to be played by young actors for the action of the play to be convincing. The Hawaii Theatre’s Young Actors Ensemble is bringing the play to the stage this month in a production that brings out the comedy that precedes the inevitable tragedy of the star-crossed lovers. The productions director, Eden-Lee Murray, joined us in our studio to talk about it.
