Maui artist Jack Nordby walks on the beach near his home every day, tuning in to the patterns the waves make and to the shimmering surface of the water.  It’s no accident that he creates his paintings on a raw etched metal surface. The texture that results evokes the surface of the ocean itself, changing character as the light shifts on its surface. Jack Nordby will talk about his work at Sargent's Fine Art in Lahaina tonight and Saturday from 7-10pm.

  • Intro Music:  George Square Thatcher Death Party by Mogwai
  • Outro Music:  Night Diving by Thrice
