East of Sun, West of Moon: CoCo Wiel
CoCo Wiel is the director of the Hawaii Theatre Center’s production of East of the Sun and West of the Moon, which will be performed March 6th and 7th at the Hawaii Theatre in downtown Honolulu. It’s part of the Center’s ‘Ohana Series.

FCC Net Neutrality Vote: Todd O’Boyle
Yesterday, in a 3 to 2 vote, the Federal Communications Commission advanced rules on net neutrality. The new regulations reclassify Internet service providers as public utilities carriers under Title II of the Telecommunications Act. That means no preferential treatment by broadband gatekeepers. We were to speak with former FCC commissioner Michael Copps this morning, but he was unable to join us. Instead, Todd O'Boyle, the Common Cause Program Director for the Media and Democracy Reform Initiative, joined the show via phone from Washington.

Sufi Dance Retreat, Kauai: Pir Shabda Kahn
Pir Shabda Kahn is the appointed Spiritual Director of the Sufi Ruhaniat International. He’ll be leading Kauai’s Annual Sufi Retreat in Princeville at the Church of the Pacific. It begins with a community offering of the Dances of Universal Peace (Sufi Dances) at 7 p.m. on March 5th.
