Dr. Susan Reinhard is a Senior Vice President at AARP, and directs its Public Policy Institute. She’s also the Chief Strategist for the organization’s Center to Champion Nursing in America This week she ‘s in Hawaii to speak with the UH nursing school. She’ll also support the bill to require hospitals to allow a patient-designated caregiver and to train that person to take care of the patient following discharge.
