Adeline Peter Raboff is a Neets’aii Gwich’in Indian originally from Alaska’s Brooks Range and Arctic Village, and a longstanding advocate/spokesperson for protection of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. She is featured in documentaries including “Oil on Ice” and other films seeking to protect natural ecosystems and sacred sites. Tonight, “The Sacred Place Where Life Begins: Gwich’in Women Speak” screens at the Church of the Crossroads.

Microcosmic Improv Auditions: Chris Riel
Chris Riel is the director of “Microcosmic—It’s Improv Li’dat,” an improvised play that is inviting actors and improvisers to audition this Sunday at the Ong King Arts Center and Tuesday at Kumu Kahua Theatre in downtown Honolulu. The production needs six to eight performers of all ages, genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds.
