He’s been in the solar industry for over 30 years and had guided his company to become one of the top five solar thermal collector manufacturers in the United States, with all of its manufacturing operations on O’ahu.
Al Farashat Kauai Belly Dance: Krystal Marie Juarbe
Krystal Marie Juarbe and her partner, Nelleke Pielaat perform together on Kauai as a bellydancing duo called “Al Farashat” or “the Butterflies.” They’re playing host to two visiting artists, Aziza and Assam, tonight at JJ’s Broiler in Lihue.

Rumi Murakami is a graduate of the California based Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. She’s worked in the LA and San Francisco garment industries. 10 years ago she moved to Honolulu to design clothing appropriate for a warm climate and casual lifestyle.
