Michael Wooten teaches Literature and Writing at James Campbell High School in Ewa Beach. He was a sergeant in the US Army and UC Berkeley graduate. He earned his Master’s in Education from the University of Hawaii and recently started a non-profit Learning First Hawaii.

State House majority leader Scott Saiki represents District 26. On Tuesday he and several other lawmakers hosted  a meeting  at the state  Capitol for citizens who have a lot questions about the future of their Kakaako neighborhood...and who are still waiting for some answers.

Mike Shanahan is the Director of Education, Visitor Experience and Planetarium for the Bishop Museum.  The Planetarium’s “Sky Tonight” program is now being offered every Saturday
