Remembering Mary Wilson of The Supremes on HPR's All Things Considered

Dave Lawrence

Today HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence celebrated the life of Mary Wilson of The Supremes, who suddenly passed away Monday evening at her home in Henderson, Nevada. She was 76. The legendary, pioneering entertainer, author, cultural ambassador, humanitarian and beloved voice of some of music’s greatest songs joined us twice over the years: once by phone in 2019 and another time in her dressing room at the Blaisdell Concert Hall in 2012. We shared highlights of both in her honor.

Supremes' legend Mary Wilson speaks with HPR's Dave Lawrence in her dressing room in 2012 at the Blaisdell Concert Hall, Honolulu.
