We dive back into the topic of Aloha Stadium's future. This second round examines the 'New Aloha Stadium Entertainment District' proposal.

Three former Hawaiʻi governors joined The Conversation last week to speak out against rebuilding a sports facility on the same site, pushing an idea for the University of Hawaiʻi to build its own larger stadium in Mānoa. The governors say the focus should instead be on building housing in Halawa.

On Tuesday, we were joined by panelists state Sen. Glenn Wakai, who represents District 15 covering Pearl Harbor to Kalihi and chairs the State Senate Committee on Energy, Economic Development, and Tourism; and Chris Kinimaka, the Public Works Administrator for the Department of Accounting and General Services.

They focused on the proposed 'New Aloha Stadium Entertainment District' and fielded listener comments and questions.
