The Hawaiʻi primary election took place on Saturday, Aug. 8. While many residents used the mail-in voting option to submit their ballots, others drove up to ballot drop boxes in their neighborhoods or stopped by Voter Service Centers. On Oʻahu, two centers operated through election day — one at Kapolei Hale and one at Honolulu Hale.
