The Movers and Shakas program will launch a new, eight-week orientation program for workers who have just moved to the islands.

The Hawaiʻi Talent Onboarding Program will launch in the spring, “designed to facilitate newly relocated talent’s cultural, social and professional transition to Hawaiʻi.”

Employers will pay the cost to participate.

Movers and Shakas is an initiative of the Hawaiʻi Executive Collaborative. The collaborative’s members include local executives in various industries.

Movers and Shakas recently completed its second cohort of 50 fellows. They were selected from Hawaiʻi and across the country to participate in a month-long program focused on cultural education and community contributions.
