Honolulu Board Of Water Supply Keeps Shutoff Suspension Through July 31

The Honolulu Board of Water Supply will not shut off its customers' water if they can’t pay their water and sewer bills through July 31.

Customers will continue to receive monthly bills and are responsible for paying previous unpaid bills.

The state Public Utilities Commission issued a utilities moratorium in May 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and extended the deadline several times. But the moratorium will finally end this Monday.

The Board of Water Supply is also warning their customers against scams.

A legitimate call from the BWS will remind customers of their balance, but never ask for payment on the spot.

Customers having difficulties paying their water and sewage bill can visit hbws.me/support or call 808-748-5070.
