The Hawaii Legislature’s “Public Access Room” is doing a series of Neighbor island outreach seminars, to educate the public about the political process. Workers at the P-A-R feel that a greater understanding of politics will encourage people to communicate with lawmakers.
Suzanne Marinelli is the Coordinator of the Public Access Room, she stress the importance of participation in government:
The Public Access room is a resource for people to understand more about the local government. The workshops conclude on Maui this week, then continue to Hawaii Island.
