New farming techniques are popping up all over Hawaii. And some of them are in places not even close to traditional farmlands. HPR’s Molly Solomon reports on a program at a local penitentiary that’s growing food behind prison walls.

Hawaiʻi Foodbank aims for 1 million meal donations during upcoming drive

The Hawaiʻi Foodbank is holding its largest annual food drive event this weekend. On Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the organization will be collecting food and monetary donations at five locations around Oʻahu for its annual Food Drive Day.
