Regina Belle talks Honolulu debut and singing contest on HPR's All Things Considered

Next week area music fans have an unusual chance at a brush with greatness: Regina Belle is looking for a singing partner to join her onstage August 3 - 5 at Blue Note Hawaii shows. The lucky talent or talents will get a chance to perform one of her classic songs, A Whole New World, the 1992 duet with Peabo Bryson from Aladdin that won a Grammy Award. She explained the special opportunity to HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence

According to their post on the topic, male singers who are interested should submit a video singing Peabo Bryson's part from A Whole New World in the original key to info@bluenotehawaii.com. Regina will select up to 4 winners to perform the song live with her here in Honolulu! Last day to submit is July 31. Winners announced August 1st. Must to be 21+ and available to perform with Regina at the Blue Note Hawaii August 3 through 5.
