Violist Yuri Hughes joins Sharene Taba ahead of this weekend’s Live from the Atherton performance. She performs in an afternoon of classical piano and viola that explores "Sharpness & Subtlety" with pianist Jasmine Nagano.
Hughes shares a preview of Saturday's concert which will include works by Leilehua Lanzilotti, Hindemith's Viola Sonata, Brahms' Clarinet Sonata transcribed for viola, and Rebecca Clarke's Sonata. She also talks about performing with the Hawaiʻi Symphony Orchestra and the Albany Symphony.
