Music Director Dane Lam and the Hawai’i Symphony Orchestra are thrilled to announce the return of the esteemed Kaimana HapaSymphony series for its fourth season. This unique series celebrates local musicians beloved by our community, inviting fans to hear popular music from local performers in intimate and imaginative ways accompanied by a full orchestra of Hawaiʻi’s most talented musicians.

The Puna Men's Chorus is beginning rehearsals and is recruiting men of any singing experience to join. We are planning for shows in the fall or winter of 2022. Our group is one of the favorites in the Puna and Hilo area so join us for a wonderful and fulfilling singing experience.

The Hawaiian Music Perpetuation Society (HMPS) presents The Legends of Hawaiian Music featuring Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame inductee, Lifetime Achievement and Multiple Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award Recipient – Nā Makamaka – Jerry Santos and friends kicks off tomorrow, Thursday, August 4 at SHOR at the Hyatt Regency Waikīkī Beach Resort and Spa.
Start the weekend early and head over to Waikīkī for an evening of food and live music. Indulge on the soothing sounds of Jerry Santos and friends while partaking in a meal at SHOR. For VIP seating, order from SHOR’s prix fixe special three-course menu for $75 per person. SHOR’s regular menu will also be available for guests outside of the VIP area.
