The Queen of Nöri will be presented on Palikū Theatre’s mainstage September 16th-18th in Windward Community College at 45-720 Keaahala Rd, Kaneohe, HI 96744. The show is a feature-length original story ballet that follows a Queen who turns to dark magic to save her kingdom from war with neighboring powers. Taking after blockbuster fantasy like GAME OF THRONES and AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER, The Queen of Nöri uses contemporary ballet to explore magic, parenthood, and leadership under pressure.

The Queen of Nöri is presented in collaboration with Kailua Dance Academy and the cast features local dance students, local professional dancers, and guest stars Ashley Carter and Vanessa Martínez de Baños of DoubleTake Dance in New York City.
