St.Johns invites you to our annual Kula Festival at 8992 Kula HIgway on Sept. 21 from 9am to 4pm. This is a truly local event and has been an upcountry tradition fro almost 40 year. There will be music all day long sponsored by Mana'o Radio and including The Isle of Maui Pipe Band, Cheryl Rae, Jaie Lawrence, Kawika Ortiz, Steve Grimes, Benny Uyetake and Halau Hula Wehena a ke Ao. You can look forward to a wide variety of food for sale, a kids zone including pony rides, produce, plants, baked goods, local crafters, a quilt show and a silent auction.The proceeds from this event will be shared with the Kula Community Watershed Alliance. The admission is $2 for those over 10 years of age. Please consider carpooling or taking the bus because parking is tight. Sorry but please do not bring your dog (except service dogs with papers).
