Special Olympics Hawaii’s 24th Annual Badges and Buckets Fundraiser
This September, volunteer, off-duty law enforcement officers will go above and beyond to support Special Olympics Hawaii athletes during the 24th Annual Badges and Buckets fundraiser. The event returns statewide:
Maui: September 10-12
Hilo & Kauai: September 11-13
Kona, Oahu & Molokai: September 12-14
Lanai: September 18-19
Law enforcement officers will be stationed on 10-foot scaffolds and rooftops at Walmart and other locations across the state, raising awareness and funds for Special Olympics Hawaii. On-the-ground volunteers will also collect donations and keep the excitement going for shoppers and supporters.

All donations collected from Badges and Buckets directly benefit Special Olympics Hawaii and its work to provide sports, health, leadership, and inclusionary programs for children and adults with intellectual disabilities year-round. Since 2001, the fundraiser has raised more than $4,363,650 for Special Olympics Hawaii athletes statewide.
