Peek-A-Bows
Peek-A-Bows
The Peek-a-Bows are three colorful sisters, Alani, Lena, and Poni that slide down the rainbow from their home, Ke Ānuenue, to go on adventures with their friends around Hawaiʻi. Come along and sing, dance, learn, and have fun with The Peek-a-Bows!
The Peek-a-Bows is a fun, musical, and educational group for young children created in 2008 by Gerilyn Hewahewa and Cyndi Mayo-Akeo. The two women met while performing together at the award-winning theatrical production entitled Ulalena in Lāhainā. The mission of The Peek-a-Bows is to serve as an engaging and educational component of early-childhood development for young keiki from a place-based lens through song and dance, storytelling, and Hawaiian cultural integration. They have been entertaining keiki for over 14 years. The Peek-a-Bows is a performing group that also offers animated/live-action episodes, free to view on their website and streaming platforms.
