Hibiscus for the Holidays
Hibiscus for the Holidays
Celebrate the season with a festive, family-friendly workshop all about the flavor and versatility of Hawaiʻi’s favorite flower! Learn how to turn locally grown roselle (hibiscus) into delicious holiday treats—such as baked goods, jams, chutneys, or infused beverages—while exploring its botanical backstory and uses in the kitchen.
Guided by expert growers, chefs, and product developers, you’ll craft your own hibiscus creation and package it in a holiday-ready format to take home or gift. Perfect for home cooks, gardeners, or aspiring food entrepreneurs exploring value-added product development.
All supplies will be provided, and there is free on-site parking in the WVAPDC’s gated lot. Save with our $40 early bird rate when you register by Dec. 5 (regular price $50).
