The 41st Great Aloha Run officially kicks off on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, at Tamarind Park, with a special downtown party from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

 The public is invited to join the Great Aloha Run ‘ohana and some of the island’s favorite on-air radio personalities from Summit Media, and enjoy a $10 discount on the registration fee.

Need help training? Participants are invited to attend the free 2024-2025 Hawai‘i Great Aloha Run “In Training” Workshop, in partnership with Mid-Pacific Road Runners Club. The first session begins at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024 at the Kapiʻolani Park Bandstand in Waikīkī. Every fitness level is encouraged to join,  but pre-registration is required. The workshop runs for nine weeks, through Sunday, Feb. 9, 2025, and is FREE. 

The Great Aloha Run is set to sprint into high gear on Monday, Feb. 17, 2025. The 8.15-mile foot race offers something for everyone who wants to be part of this iconic Honolulu event, whether you’re a serious runner, an occasional racer, or a walker looking to socialize with friends and family all while raising money for dozens of local charities! 

Through the generosity and aloha from the thousands of participants, the Hawai‘i Pacific Health Great Aloha Run has raised more than $17 million that goes right back into local communities, benefitting more than 50 charitable organizations and the military.
