Gamelan of the Molten Blossom Concert
Gamelan of the Molten Blossom is a community group that plays a bronze gong orchestra from Central Java. Our September 5 performance will include a short introduction to what gamelan is, followed by playing some new pieces we recently learned from Mas Midiyanto, a renowned gamelan musician from UC Berkeley who we recently hosted as a visiting artist.
