Maui’s own Soul Rocker, Danyel Alana has an eclectic style that reflects her ethnic roots of growing up with a musical family on the beaches of Los Angeles and Hawai’i. Weaving a conscious lyrics with soulful vocals she blends elements of funk, rock, blues, reggae, hip hop, R&B, soul, jazz, Hawaiian, pop, and country. Whether she’s solo on an acoustic or on electric guitar with the band, her unbridled style and powerful vocals fuel the passion in her versatile, dynamic and high energy performances.
Nominated for two Na Hoku Hano Hano Awards in 2024 for her Album ‘Soul Love’, Danyel never ceases to deliver the conscious message of love, unity and introspection through her original and cover material.
