Our guest speaker, Emelyn (Eme) Kim has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Gerontological Counseling from San Francisco State University and a BA in Psychology from University of Hawaiʻi. In her 20 years of experience in elder care education and case management, Eme has taught family caregivers in adult education classes at Kapiolani Community College and created educational seminars for non-profit organizations in the community. She continues her work to nurture and strengthen the relationships between elders and their family caregivers.
