Have you ever wondered about the life of a Broadway performer or a touring professional actor? On Sunday, April 30 at 10am, join us at the historic Aloha Theatre in Kainaliu and take a peek behind the curtain at a free Talk Story featuring Jonalyn Saxer, Megan Masako Haley, and Becca Petersson, all seasoned Broadway pros!

Jonalyn Saxer is originally from Los Angeles, California, and now lives in New York City. Her Broadway credits include Bullets Over Broadway, Honeymoon In Vegas, Holiday Inn (Which can be streamed at any time on Broadway HD), Cats, and most recently Mean Girls,where she was in the ensemble and understudied Karen, Cady, and Regina. She was most recently seen touring with Mean Girls as Karen Smith. You can also see Jonalyn as a Jet girl in Steven Spielberg's West Side Story. Jonalyn will next be seen on Broadway in Back To The Future where she will be in the ensemble and understudying Lorraine Baines. She has been seen regionally in 42nd Street, Newsies, and in the world premiers of Gotta Dance, and Moonshine: That Hee Haw musical. Jonalyn graduated from Syracuse University with a BFA in Musical Theater.

Megan Masako Haley is originally from San Jose, California and currently resides in New York City. Favorite theatre credits include Gretchen in Mean Girls (National Tour), Nessarose in Wicked (National Tour), and Emily in The Devil Wears Prada (Chicago). TV/Film credits include Not Okay (Hulu), WeCrashed (AppleTV), Madam Secretary (CBS), Broad City (Comedy Central), Evil (CBS), and Younger (Paramount).

Becca Petersson is originally from Carmel, Indiana and has made New York City her home for the past eight years. After receiving her BFA in Musical Theatre from Brigham Young University, Becca dove into performing professionally across the country and in NYC. Becca has performed with the first national tour of Newsies, originated a track in the pre-Broadway production of The Prom, made her Broadway debut as Laura Osnes’ understudy in the Tony Award-winning musical Bandstand, performed as an original Broadway cast member of Mean Girls as a swing, understudy of Cady Heron, Regina George, and Karen Smith, and performed in the Broadway-bound musical Come Fall in Love at the Old Globe Theatre. Most recently she helped reset the Mean Girls first national tour after the Covid shutdown and travelled the country on and off with the tour as an emergency standby and swing. Becca will be making the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City her home this summer as she joins the original Broadway company of Back to the Future. She will be dancing in the ensemble and understudying Lorraine Baines. In addition to musical theatre, Becca Loves thrift shopping, trying new restaurants, and cuddling with her pup, Indy Bloom!

This event will be moderated by Aloha Teen Theatre Advisor, Amelia Thorne, and is appropriate for all ages! We will Talk Story for approximately 90 minutes.
