Kumu Kahua Theatre proudly presents Aloha Las Vegas, the first play of its upcoming 52nd Season. Reuniting many of the cast members from previous presentations of the play at Kumu Kahua, Aloha Las Vegas written by Edward Sakamoto will once again grace the theatre’s stage in downtown Honolulu, with live performances running August 25-September 25, 2022. Audiences have hit the jackpot with the new season lineup—which marks the first time ever the theatre has devoted a full season exclusively to some of its most beloved and popular presentations through the years.

ABOUT Aloha Las Vegas:
Wally Fukuda is a retired widower living a quiet life in Liliha until his friend Harry visits from Las Vegas with a wild proposal: sell his home & retire to Vegas, where he can live for a fraction of the cost. Wally warms to the idea, but family dynamics complicate his decision. His neighbor Gracie & their sweet but awkward acquaintance, Alvin, keep the laughs coming as Wally decides on whether to stay – or go.

Honoring the memory of its founder, Dennis Carroll, the theatre is additionally offering up to 10 free tickets to the community every weekend of every show throughout its 52nd Season, running August 25, 2022- June 25 August 2023. In keeping with a tenet of Carroll’s to make theatre accessible to everyone, the Dennis Carroll Memorial tickets will be focused on those new to, or financially challenged in, experiencing the performing arts.
