Bassist Bruce Hamada (l) and pianist David Garfield performed with Tim Tsukiyama, sax, and Garin Poliahu, percussion in an evening of uplifting jazz.

Tucked into the makai corner of M?noa Marketplace, a new music venue has been drawing weekend audiences.  HPR’sNoeTanigawa discovered there are two concert venues and art, dance, and culinary classes going on there as well.

The Stantons welcome community use of their concert spaces and are fundraising to expand their practice rooms and studios.  The schedule of performers changes constantly so check the website for the latest.

Hear Vivo tonight (10/24)and the Soul Pilots Saturday night at Medici’s in the M?noa School of Art and Music near the post office in M?noa Market Place.
