Sunday Puzzle: Prest-o, Change-o

NPR's Puzzlemaster Will Shortz quizzes one of our listeners, and has a challenge for everyone at home.

Challenge from June 12

From Paul Doering of Rochester, New York: Name two fruits, and say their names out loud. They sound like a two-word phrase meaning "today." What is the phrase?

Answer: CURRANT + DATE = CURRENT DATE

Winner: Edward Galloway of Seattle, Washington.

Challenge for June 19

From Marek Penszko, of Warsaw, Poland: If the word finite is represented by the number 5910, what six-letter word is represented by 0930?

Hint: There are only two common six-letter words in English which have this unusual property.
