Casey Young graduated from the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine last year and he is currently an intern at Columbia in New York City, the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic in the United States. He spoke to us about the physical and mental toll of the COVID-19 crisis - including becoming ill himself.
Kauai doctor wants medication-assisted treatment for drug addicted inmates
Dr. Graham Chelius is a family doctor in Waimea and he has prescribed medication to alleviate withdrawal symptoms and cravings from opioids, methamphetamine, alcohol or other drugs for patients in his rural Kauai community.
