Bill would ban vacation rentals on Molokai

A bill on the desk of Maui County Mayor Mike Victorino would not allow for any short term vacation rental properties on Molokai, and would phase out current vacation rentals. The bill has drawn mixed reactions from members of the rural community. HPR Reporter Kuuwehi Hiraishi tells us more.

Kaiser Permanente Hawaii doctor talks COVID-19

As COVID-19 test kits become available and the viral spread continuing, there are mixed messages on what to do and what not to do. Kaiser Permanente Hawaii chief of infectious diseases Dr. Tarquin Collis has been preparing staff and patients for the possibility of COVID-19 in Hawaii.

Financial ties of Honolulu officials now harder to find

Public records in which Honolulu officials disclose their business interests, real estate holdings and familiy ties are no longer posted on the Honolulu Ethics Commission's website, and disclosures from past years have been deleted.
