State and county election officials are fielding questions about the ballot question that the Hawaii Supreme Court invalidated last week.
The Constitutional Amendment question would have allowed the state to use property taxes for education. So what happens now? Will the teachers union try again next session? What went wrong in the legislative process, and by the way---why are those political adsstill running on television if the votes won’t be counted?
Our guests today were:
Corey Rosenlee head of the Hawaii State Teachers Association -- the union which represents over 13,500 public school teachers
Randy Roth member of theAffordable Hawaii Coalition and former member of the Tax Review Commission
