Thierry Work is a USGS wildlife disease specialist. He’s  investigating the sea urchin die-off in Hawaii and encourages the public to report instances of marine die-offs to the Hawaii Department of Natural Resources.

Willi Burke is in town to present a documentary film about her late husband called AKA Doc Pomus, which will be shown at the Honolulu Museum of Art’s Doris Duke Theater March 5th, 6th, and 11th.   It’s part of the 12th Annual Temple Emanu-El Kirk Cashmere Jewish Film Festival.
