This week on Helping Hand, the Hawaii Parkinson Association join HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence. President Jerry Boster discusses the many ways people can support their fund and awareness raising walk Sunday Nov. 3th 9 a.m. to noon at Magic Island in Ala Moana Beach Park in Honolulu. He also brings us up to speed on their need for trial and study volunteers, the latest on Parkinson-related research, the ways people can assist their support groups, and some of the valuable therapeutic physical activities they suggest, among many topics.
