Classical Pacific November 24, 2017

Welcome to Classical Pacific for November 24th, 2017.

Today, we offer you a balm for the torpor and somnolence induced by holiday feasting and overindulgence, and we’ll provide an effective antidote to Black Friday freneticism. Allow us to  serenade you with  music of Mozart, Géntil Montaña, Schumann, Dvorak, King Henry VIII (How did he find time to write music with all those marital entanglements?), and we’ll regale you with some lively polkas by Johann Strauss, Jr.
Don’t forget that Giving Tuesday is coming up. If you listen to Hawaii Public Radio, we ask that you support the stations you love by making a donation and becoming a Sustaining Member. Give the gift that keeps on giving to your community, to your family, and to yourself.

John Kalani Zak, the son of an airline executive father and a journalist mother, was born in Washington D. C. He has lived in and traveled to many locations around the globe, and is delighted to call Hawaiʻi his home.
