News EditorScott Kim spent most of his career in the NPR system, having served as a reporter, host and news director at Hawaiʻi Public Radio from 1991 through 1997, before moving on to spend 15 years at NPR affiliates WMFE in Orlando (where he was hired by José A. Fajardo) and WJCT in Jacksonville. Kim was a news editor at HPR. He was born and raised in Hawaiʻi, and graduated from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa with a degree in broadcast journalism.
